Property means commercial premises – hotels, motels, holiday resorts, wellness resorts, restaurants, golf resorts, conference centres, campsites etc.
You can see the sequence of the properties in the Sequence column. You can only change the sequence with the necessary privileges. To get these privileges, contact your supervisor.

The name of the property.
Info: Changes to this field are not immediately visible. They will be sent to OpenGDS and applied after approval.
The property type. The type is used to name accommodations (e.g. "bungalows" for holiday resorts, "pitches" for campsites). Also (Online Travel) Agents can use the type to search for properties, for a possible partnership.
The property sells accommodations. An accommodation is sold per day or per night, like hotel rooms, apartments, bungalows, campsites etc.
Tip: Click Mode > Accommodations in the top menu, to manage your accommodations.
The property sells activities. An activitiy is sold for a certain period of time, like restaurant tables, conference rooms, wellness, golf courses, bike rentals etc.

The address of the property, street and house number.
The Postal Code of the property.
The location of the property. (e.g city, town or place where the property is located)

The country where the property is located.

The telephone number of the property.
Email addresses of the property. Reservation confirmations and notifications will be sent to these email addresses.
Note: This field can contain multiple email addresses by separating them with a comma.
The website URL of the property.
The main language used by the property. Reservation confirmations and notifications will be sent in this language. This language is also mandatory when, for example, entering rate names, so the most used translation is always filled in.
The main currency used by the property. All rates must be entered with this currency.
The time zone of the property.
The latitude of the property in decimal degrees. Used for showing the property on a map, like Google Maps.
The longitude of the property in decimal degrees. Used for showing the property on a map, like Google Maps.
Filters can be used to refine searches and to display additional information about the property.
Allow OpenGDS partners to contact you.
Set out new promotions and deals via the same connection in partnership with these partners.
This gives you the opportunity to generate more reservations.
The name of the member of your sales team that OpenGDS partners can contact.
The telephone number of the member of your sales team that OpenGDS partners can contact.
The email address of the member of your sales team that OpenGDS partners can contact.
The total number of accommodations present in this property. All types of acommodations combined.
The description of the property for the use of accommodations. This field is optional.
Check-in time of the property. Check-in till is optional.
Check-out time of the property.
Age categories of the property.
When creating a rate, a price can be set per age category.
You can create up to 5 age categories.
Create tax items to use for this property.
You can click + New to create a new tax item.
To update an existing item, you can click behind the item.
To delete an existing item, you can click behind the item.
In the tax item window:
Name the name to use for this tax.
Validity select the start date and end date for the period this tax is valid or you can select Permanently valid for making this tax item always valid.
Type the tax will be calculated following the selected value.
Tax the actual rate / percentage for this tax.
Include previous taxes in calculation apply tax on amount including previous taxes.
Note: If a period is used, and the arrival day of the reservation is during this selected period, the tax is valid. The period is valid up to and including the end date.
Note: When using
Percentage of accommodation, the percentage is calculated, using the total accommodation rate without substracted discounts and/or promocodes.
The description of the property for the use of activities. This field is optional.
The User group settings are user group based, here you select the user group for which these settings apply.
OpenGDS will identify the user group through the Core API key, when requests from the reservation module are made.
An optional field, to connect your own ID to this property.
For example, you have your own content management system where you have a property with ID "1234".
If you want to request this property through our API, you could use the OpenGDS property ID, but in that case your content management system has to be aware of this ID. When you enter your ID "1234" in this field, you can request this property through your own ID.
This ID is also communicated through our APIs, so you can identify the property, for instance in the Promocode API, so you know for which property a promocode is redeemed.
The Interface ID must consist of letters, numbers and/or underscores.
Info: The property Interface ID is stored per user group, so only an API call requested with an API key generated for your user group will answer to this Interface ID.
